Exercise Physiologist

Bachelor Exercise Science and Rehabilitation (Uni Wollongong)

Emma graduated from UOW in 2002 a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. Her final 4^th year at university included practical placement work experience in the areas of musculoskeletal, cardiac and neurological rehabilitation.

Emma joined the team at Rehab Options in 2010. Emma has completed the WorkCover NSW Introduction to Return to Work Coordination Course. This course and her and her involvement and training so far formalised her knowledge to facilitate as a Return to Work Coordinator / Exercise Physiologist.

Emma's previous employment was at NightHawk Radiology Services (teleradiology) in the roles of Radiologist Support and Quality Assurance of Reports. She has extensive experience in liaising and establishing appropriate contact relationships with a range of medical professionals from Radiologists, ER doctors, medical records, pathology etc. maintaining and developing these relationships through excellence in customer service. Other key skills include a high level of medical terminology, and the identification of key critical findings / abnormalities on radiological images via adequate knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
