Tomasin is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA). Tomasin graduated
from The University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Exercise
Physiology. Tomasin's experience included clinical placements at the
Prince of Wales Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, Spinal Cord
Injuries Australia and the University of NSW Lifestyle Clinic. From these
placements Tomasin has gained extensive knowledge and experience to
become highly proficient in developing and implementing exercise programs
for a range of cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological and
musculoskeletal conditions. Tomasin is also soon to publish her first
research paper looking at the effect different types of exercise has on
reducing both central and peripheral blood pressure.
Tomasin, with the support of the experienced Rehab Options Injury
Management team, has further developed her skills in understanding the
return to work process and the impact of workplace injuries on a business
and employees.
As part of her role, Tomasin uses her training as an Exercise
Physiologist to completing Task Analysis, undertaking Functional
Assessments, providing appropriate exercise prescription to work related
conditions, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic and Postural Assessments and
provide Manual Handling training specific to your workplace.
Tomasin has both in her formal training and work experience developed and
demonstrated the very skills that make her a valuable part of our team at
Rehab Options Injury Management. Here Tomasin will receive all the
necessary training to meet our high expectations and deliver our promise
to our clients protecting their business, people and profits.
