Bricklayer
The Challenge
This employee had a fall resulting in a shoulder injury, initial assessments as to his likely recovery were estimated at over 12 months. The initial estimate for the injury placed by the insurer was $150,000.
The Process
We motivated the insurer and had approved the immediate use of a respected orthopaedic surgeon resulting in an operation being preformed within 10 days. After a Return to Work program including a work-conditioning plan was put in place the employee resumed suitable duties within 3 months.
The Result
The employee is now happily working back at his full pre-injury duties with minimal restriction. The insurance company has closed the file. The total cost incurred at time of closure was $29,800. This is a saving of $120,200.00 on cost of claims.
What the client say's
The worker was a valued employee and we thought we had lost him. He has now effectively rejoined our productive workforce and due to the manner in which it was handled, relations with the worker and the rest of our workforce is better than ever.
